Eligibility Criteria
It is mandatory for the candidates appearing for the BITSAT that they should have passed or taken their Class 12(or equivalent) exam within the 10+2 system from a recognized central or state board.
It is necessary to obtain a minimum total of 75% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (or Biology, as appropriate), together with at least 60% in each of the individual subjects.
There is no maximum age limit for the examination, but only students who have passed the Class 12 examination last year or are appearing for Class 12 in the current year are eligible. The top performers among the board’s students are given special preference as they may get direct admission. The international students are admitted through a separate scheme based on their SAT score.
