Follow these steps to download the JEE Mains 2026 hall ticket correctly:

• Go to https://jeemain.nta.nic.in
• On the homepage, find “Candidate Activity” and tap on the “Admit Card for JEE(Main)-2026 [Session-I]” or admit card link.
• Log in using your application number and password (and the security pin/captcha shown on screen)
• After logging in, the dashboard will have the hall ticket; click “Download Admit Card” to save the PDF.
• You may take 2–3 clear printouts and keep one extra as a backup.

Essential Details to Verify on Your Admit Card

Examine every field immediately after downloading. Discrepancies can prevent entry to the exam centre:

• Personal information: Full name, photograph, signature, date of birth, category, PwD status (if applicable)
• Exam specifics: Paper type (Paper 1 for B.E./B.Tech, 2A for B.Arch, 2B for B.Planning), date (28/29 Jan), shift timings

Gates close: 2:30 PM

Allow 45 minutes for frisking, document verification, and biometrics. Arrive one hour before your reporting time, factoring in travel delays.

Mandatory documents:

• A passport-size photograph identical to your application upload
• Original photo ID: Aadhaar Card (preferred), Voter ID, PAN Card, Driving License, or Passport

Electronic devices (mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, earphones), bags, metallic objects, food items, and opaque water bottles are not permitted. Opt for simple attire: half-sleeve shirts, trousers, and open footwear to expedite security checks. Transparent water bottles are allowed.
