• Minimise manual intervention through automated coordination
• Accelerate evaluation by enabling broader teacher participation
• Reduce transportation time and associated costs
• Allow teachers to continue their regular school responsibilities during the evaluation period

The digital system will eliminate the requirement for post-result mark verification which will lead to decreased need for staff. The system will enable participation from all schools that have affiliation including international schools while supporting environmentally friendly practices.

Class 10 answer script evaluation will maintain its physical evaluation process for the 2026 academic session. The official CBSE website houses an official circular which contains complete information for students and stakeholders.

The Headliner: Two Options of Class 10!

Here is something that counts – since you are in Class 10 now, you will have two chances to have your board examinations in the same year:

• First Exam: February17-March 10, 2026 (required by all)
• 2nd Exam: May 15-June 1, 2026( optional, to get better)

The best part? Your best outcome in any of your two tries will be counted. It will imply reduced pressure and space to do better in case it does not go exactly the first time. • 50% Competency-Based Questions- These questions involve case studies, reality questions, data interpolations and questions that involve a source that require you to apply what you have learned.

• 30% Descriptive Questions – Conventional short and long answer questions.

The Strict Section Rule (Super Important!)

This is one of them to watch carefully! In case of Class 10 Science and Social Science, your answer booklet shall be distributed into certain sections:

The point is the following: You have to write down every answer in the right section. Not writing in the Biology section when you mean chemistry, or vice versa, will not be graded – even when it is entirely correct! You have to go to play in a sport, or an olympiad and have an exam in between:

• Class 10: you have a chance to take part in the second round of the exams in May.
• Class 12: You will get an opportunity to be re-examined in re-scheduled exams at the end of the first cycle.
