Three hours were allotted for the exam, with each question carrying 300 marks. The paper has been given a moderate\u00a0rating based on the initial response.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The JEE Main 2023 Shift 2 Exam was conducted from 3 PM to 6 PM in the afternoon. English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu were among the thirteen languages used to administer the test.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The JEE Main Shift 2 Paper was considered to be moderate to attempt, according to the students&#8217; early reactions. Shift 1 had a similar response from the students. Students were able to complete the exam even if some of the questions were a little difficult.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Math, Chemistry, and Physics each feature two sections: Section A, which is MCQ-based, and Section B, which contains questions and answers that must be entered as numbers. Only 5 of the 10 questions in Section B must be answered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>JEE main session 2: Analysis of the Physics Paper<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The physics exam was simple. Chapters on electrostatics, current electricity, ray optics, wave optics, semiconductors, magnetism, rotational motion, SHM &amp; waves, kinematics, laws of motion, rotational motion, magnetism, SHM &amp; waves, and modern physics received the most weightage. Number-related questions received the highest rating for simplicity. Chapters from the XII Class were given higher weightage. Mixed concepts were used in the assertion-reasoning problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Analysis of the Chemistry Paper<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The difficulty level of the chemistry paper was Easy to Moderate. Physical and inorganic chemistry was given more weightage. In Organic Chemistry, questions regarding Amines, Aldehydes &amp; Ketones, Polymers, Alcohols, Ethers &amp; Phenols, Aryl &amp; Alkyl Halides were asked. Atomic structure, mole concept, surface chemistry, coordination compounds, solid state, ionic equilibrium, and chemical kinetics. Questions from Ores &amp; Metallurgy, P-block, and D-block were asked in Inorganic Chemistry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Analysis of the Mathematics Paper<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The level of mathematics was Moderate. Chapters in calculus and conic sections were given more weightage. Matrices, vectors, 3D geometry, ellipses, circles, parabolas, the binomial theorem, progressions, functions, AOD, areas, and differential equations were among the subjects covered in the questions. Both MCQs and numerical based problems required extensive calculations. Some students found this section to be challenging as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Overall Level of Difficulty<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In terms of difficulty, Mathematics was rated as Moderate, Physics as Easy, and Chemistry as Easy to Moderate.
