Each and every one on this planet is graced by the warmth and the light of sun. More often than not, we don\u2019t realize how much the sun burns to illuminate the world. The JEE exam is more about perseverance than about difficulty. It\u2019s more about turning up every time than being turned down. The feeling of defeat and demotivation is predestined but what truly matters is the beautiful and bright life that\u2019s waiting for us right across the stretch of the rough JEE road; and how crazy we are to give whatever it takes. Sure, it\u2019d be a bit nerve wrecking but it\u2019ll all be worth it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is important to cover backlog while being up to date with your current study plan. You will have to work extra hard for a while but once you have brought yourself up to speed with everything you\u2019ve missed it\u2019ll be well worth it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Make a list of the chapters you have pending, subject wise. Some chapters need to be done first so that you can understand the rest. You cannot do conic sections without doing lines first. Thus decide an order in which you will do these chapters.<\/li>
  2. Make a rough time plan. What\u2019s your deadline? Do you have to complete these chapters before a certain test? Based on the time you have left decided how much time you will give to each chapter. This won\u2019t be the same for all chapters of course.<\/li>
  3. Be realistic with your goals. Remember that along with this backlog, you also have your regular studies to keep us with, which should not be compromised on either.<\/li>
  4. You can set certain days or hours specifically for backlog. You can used to set goals for your current studies and when you are done, You would usually have 1\u20132 hours remaining that day to cover your backlog.<\/li>
  5. Hard work is seldom equal to smart work. Before solving questions, you must understand the exam. JEE Mains expects students to answer a question in 2 minutes whereas in JEE Advance you may have to spend 5 minutes on a problem. So judge yourself accordingly.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    It’s very natural to have some backlog during JEE preparation. Don’t worry. It happens to the best of students. To fix it, work out a schedule to clear the backlog as early as possible. First of all, prioritize stuff based on importance. Then allow some time of the week to do the backlogged stuff. Proceed in the order you decided, and you should be able to get it done soon. Never try to rush through your backlog. Study theory and practice all level problems. Quality matters more than quantity so whatever you do, do it properly. You may skip irrelevant stuff from your backlog, if any.
    Also, in the process of clearing backlog, never let your running syllabus suffer. Your priority has to be running the syllabus else, you would be gaining and clearing backlog simultaneously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    With competitions rising and rising across the Nation, the path towards achieving success is no doubt getting harder\u2026However, true to the \u201cstruggle for existence” theory, one has to prepare himself for the fierce struggle in order to bear golden reaps in the future. Thus always keep in mind that, \u201cperseverance is the key to success<\/em>” and that with hard work, sweat and determination all your dreams will turn into reality\u2026So get, set and push it!<\/p>\n\n
