So let\u2019s do this differently. Imagine I\u2019m dragging my chair to your side of the room, handing you half of my Maggi, and talking like a friend who\u2019s already cried in the washroom and come back out smiling. Cool? Cool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s it. Three lines, one grin, zero GPA mentions. They\u2019ll either lean in or they won\u2019t; both are useful data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Give yourself twenty minutes, a cup of chai, and strict instructions not to fall into a LinkedIn rabbit hole. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pick ONE cool thing they did recently. Screenshot it. Casually drop it tomorrow like you\u2019re texting a friend: \u201cSaw you launched X smart way to solve Y.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
That\u2019s the difference between \u201cI did my homework\u201d and \u201cI memorised their revenue chart.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You already know the stuff; you just need to iron the creases. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Open your third-year lab file, pick three topics you actually enjoyed. For each: <\/p>\n\n\n\n
– One definition you can say out loud without sounding like Siri. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
– One mini-story: \u201cI used this when my project crashed at 3 a.m. because\u2026\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
– One tiny doodle you can redraw on the whiteboard, even if your hands shake. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Solve exactly two easy problems, then shut the laptop. Sleep is a legal performance-enhancing drug.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They\u2019re wondering: \u201cCould I share a 9 a.m. cab with this human daily?\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Answer like you would to a senior you respect but aren\u2019t trying to impress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Strength: \u201cI calendar-block like a maniac, our hackathon team actually slept.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Weakness: \u201cI still say \u2018just one sec\u2019 when debugging; learning to time-box instead.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Question for them: \u201cWhat\u2019s the last thing that made the whole team laugh on a call?\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
If they laugh remembering it, you just joined the joke.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– Outfit: darker jeans, clean tee\/polo, same sneakers you can run in if the cab is late. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
– Two printed r\u00e9sum\u00e9s, one for you to doodle on, one crisp. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
– Arrive early enough to locate the loo, DM your best friend \u201cgoing in, love you,\u201d and do the superhero pose in the cubicle. Yes, it\u2019s dorky; yes, it works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Smile. Buy ten seconds: \u201cCool question, on mind if I think aloud?\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Talk them through your guess, your assumptions, and where you\u2019d Google first. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Interviewers mark process, not perfection. Half of them probably Googled the same thing last week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Step outside, voice-note every question while it\u2019s hot. Tag the ones you fumbled. Fix them before the next company iteration beats regret.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tell yourself: \u201cThis is interview #1 of my career, not the finale.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Detach like a pro, show up like a fan. Detachment is oxygen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Text your group, share a samosa, keep the dopamine alive momentum compounds faster than cramming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They\u2019re not looking for a know-it-all; they\u2019re looking for a learn-it-fast who won\u2019t be a pain at 9 a.m. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
